BOTH Speed Camp & Strength Training Camps
Cost of Camp: $150
Description of Speed Camp: The speed camp is led by Coach McGatlin who will be in his 17th year of leading and coaching speed camps. The Middle School and High School Speed Camps work to retrain muscle memory throughout a series of drills and exercises that work all athletic areas including: Speed, Agility, Coordination, Reaction Time and Power. This camp is more intense than the Youth Speed Camp in that the athlete will be challenged significantly more. All athletes will pre and post-test 40-yd Dash, Pro Agility, Standing Long Jump, Standing Triple Jump and 10-yd start. The Charger Elite Speed Camp has been developed to help each athlete maximize his or her athletic potential.
Camp Dates/Times: June 5th – July 14th (Monday, Wednesday, Friday for 6 weeks) from 10-11 am. 16 total sessions. NO camp on July 3rd or 5th.
Camp Location: Chatfield Senior High on the lower fields on the north side of the building
Description of Strength Training Camp: The weight camp is a good opportunity for athletes to learn the techniques of weight training to better help them in their journey to become a better athlete. The lifting camp will be held for incoming 7th-12th graders only. This year there will be two weight camps running simultaneously in two separate weight rooms at Chatfield Senior High. One will be geared towards working with male athletes and one that will be geared toward the female athlete.
Camp Dates/Times: June 5th – July 14th (Monday, Wednesday, Friday for 6 weeks) from 11 am – Noon. 16 total sessions. NO camp on July 3rd or 5th.
Camp Location: Located in the Chatfield Weight rooms on the south side of the building
