Coach Joe Eck

Coach Eck has been a part of the Chatfield family for the last 5 years. This coming season will mark his fifth year coaching football for the Chargers, as well as the summer speed and agility camps. Sports have always been a huge part of Coach Eck’s life, most notably football, which he played for over 10 years. After high school, he attended the University of Illinois where he graduated with a bachelors degree in psychology. He is currently a graduate student at University of Colorado Denver, where he is working to get his masters degree in school counseling. Growing up, Coach Eck’s most powerful role models were his coaches. Having such amazing coaches in his life has inspired him to help youth develop into the best possible versions of themselves and succeed in both sports and in life.
